In celebration of M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, select Alamo Drafthouse theatres will be screening all three films of the superhero trilogy back-to-back-to-back. On January 12, 2019 fans will have an opportunity to see the new film a week ahead of its theatrical release for free, with the purchase of a $5 food voucher. Dubbed The Shyamalanathon, this triple feature is the perfect way to submerge yourself back into the world, before settling in to see Shyamalan’s Pièce De Résistance, Glass.
The Unbreakable/Split/Glass triple-feature screenings will also include an exclusive live conversation with director M. Night Shyamalan, broadcast to all 25 participating theatres. In addition the Drafthouse screening, Universal Pictures has partnered with Beyond Fest and American Cinematheque to screen all three films at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre beginning at 4 p.m. on January 12, 2019. Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds David Dunn (Bruce Willis) pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb’s (James McAvoy) superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price (Samuel L, Jackson) emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass hits theatres nationwide January 18, 2019. The film stars Bruce Willis (The Sixth Sense, Looper), Samuel L, Jackson (1408, The Hateful Eight), James McAvoy (IT Chapter 2, Wanted), Sarah Paulson (Bird Box, American Horror Story), and Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Thoroughbreds) who will reprise her role as Casey Cooke from 2017’s Split.
