After The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney California Adventure Park was reskinned (and de-spookied) to become Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! in 2017, we knew it would be only a matter of time before we’d start to see big changes coming to the ride at Disney Parks around the world. Disneyland Paris’s Tower of Terror is the latest to be reimagined —  it’s now known as A New Dimension Of Chills and has all-new Twilight Zone-themed storylines and sequences. Check the trailer here:

For those who aren’t lucky enough to be in Paris to catch the updated ride, Disney released some hints to the new narrative upgrades on their official blog:

The television sequence in the Library scene of the attraction features a cast of characters that includes a rather precocious young girl. In this new version of the show, the girl becomes a starring character on the ride, warning us not to cross over into the Twilight Zone. When we fail to heed her warning, thrills follow! The Imagineering team also added new illusions, media sequences, and audio soundtracks to create not one, but three different show and ride sequences for the attraction.

Three new narrative elements mean three more reasons to ride the ride. According to Attractions Magazine, the three new stories feature the spooky little ghost girl described above heavily. Known as “The Malevolent Machine”, “The Shaft Creatures”, and “The 5th Dimension”, these narratives have you and the ghost girl navigating terrors such as your elevator becoming sentient and intent on trapping you, otherworldly monsters getting loose in your elevator shaft, and a poltergeist trying to ensnare your soul.

The new version of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opened  at Disneyland Paris on September 28th, so you can check into the Hollywood Tower Hotel and check the ride out next time you’re visiting the park!
