Halloween is almost upon us, and that means one important thing to the adventurous horror fan: Haunted House Attractions and Spooky Carnivals! Josh Hasty’s Candy Corn hits select theatres September 13 before rolling out on VOD and Blu-ray September 17, just in time to find a spot on your 31 Days of Halloween watch list.

 

If you’re anything like me, you’re constantly on the lookout for a new Halloween Horror movie to fold into your regular rotation, and with genre great Tony Todd included among the cast, Candy Corn is bound to become a seasonal staple. Below is an exclusive sneek peek at what Epic Pictures and Dread Central Presents have in store for you this Halloween season. Titled “The Calm Before The Storm,” we find Dr. Death and the carnival cronies preparing for the night’s frightening festivities…

Official Synopsis:

It’s the eve of Halloween in Grove Hill, Ohio. A traveling carnival is in town for the weekend and local outcast, Jacob Atkins, has been hired as one of the freaks in the event’s main attraction, “Dr. Death’s Side Show Spook House Spectacular.” Meanwhile, a group of local bullies are planning their annual public hazing of Jacob, but this year, things go too far.
