It appears horror streaming service Shudder is ramping up the scares in time for Halloween! Exclusive new additions announced just yesterday are festival fave Found Footage 3D, animated prequel of Train to Busan; Seoul Station, and more!
Found Footage 3D
Shudder premieres Found Footage 3D on October 26th in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. They will stream the movie in both its 2D and 3D versions. In the film, A group of filmmakers sets out to make the first 3D found footage horror movie, but find themselves IN a found footage horror movie when the evil entity from their film escapes into their behind-the-scenes footage. The film is Written and directed by Steven DeGennaro. Carter Roy, Alena von Stroheim, Chris O’Brien, Tom Saporito, Scott Allen Perry, Jessica Perrin, and Scott Weinberg star. Watch the trailer below.
Seoul Station is the animated sequel to last year’s zombie favorite Train to Busan. The film follows several groups of people as they try to survive a zombie pandemic that unleashes itself in downtown Seoul. Seoul Station will be available to watch on Shudder from October 5th. Shudder has also acquired the freaky films Can’t Take It Back and Spookers. Can’t Take It Back revolves around two high school girls who post hateful comments on the Facebook page of a deceased classmate and learn what it means to take a “joke” too far. Spookers is haunted house documentary about a close-knit New Zealand family who run the most successful haunt in the Southern Hemisphere. Can’t Take It Back premieres on October 12th.
