With all the excitement of the adult Losers Club returning to Derry, Maine it has felt like we’ve been waiting 27 years for IT: Chapter 2. The sequel to the 2017 adaptation of Stephen Kings beloved classic tale hit theatres September 6, 2019 and a new trailer has just dropped to cast a dark shadow over the rest of your summer. If you thought Pennywise The Dancing Clown was scary when the Losers were children, just you wait and see what horrors he has in store for the reluctant adults that have come back to stop him once and for all.

 

Official Synopsis:

Twenty-seven years after their first encounter with the terrifying Pennywise, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back.

IT: Chapter 2 stars James McAvoy (Glass) as Bill Denbrough, Jay Ryan (Mary Kills People) as Ben Hascom, Jessica Chastain (Crimson Peak) as Beverly Marsh, Bill Hader (Barry) as Richie Tozer, Isaiah Mustafa (Shadowhunters) as Mike Hanlon, James Ransone (Sinister) as Eddie Kaspbrak, and Andy Bean (Here and Now) as Stanley Uris. Also returning are all of the Losers fromIT (2017) including Jaeden Martell (Bill), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben), Sophia Lillis (Beverly), Finn Wolfhard (Richie), Chosen Jacobs (Mike), Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie), and Wyatt Oleff (Stanley), as well as Bill Skarsgård (Assassination Nation) who will, of course, portray the horrifying Pennywise and physical actor and frequent Guillermo del Toro collaborator Javier Botet (Crimson Peak, Two Pigeons/Freehold). IT: Chapter 2 is directed by Andy Muschetti (Mama), from a script by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle Comes Home)
