Actor, stuntman, author, ghost hunter, avid poker player; These are the many faces of the legendary Kane Hodder. Ironically, the face that most recognize is the mask of iconic killer Jason Voorhees. Hodder’s portrayal of the masked serial killer spans four Friday the 13th including Part VII, VIII, Jason Goes To Hell and Jason X. Most recently, Hodder participated in motion capture for the latest Friday the 13th video game as Jason Voorhees. Hodder’s journey to become the recognizable figure he is today was forged by the personal experiences and struggles he faced all throughout his professional acting career.

Production company Masterfully Macabre Entertainment teamed with film director Derek Dennis Herbert to present Hodder’s journey in a new documentary. The film recounts Hodder’s personal struggles as a bullied and tormented teenager to the traumatic accident that nearly cost him his life. To Hell And Back: The Kane Hodder Story presents Hodder in a candid light with interviews and footage, including discussions with Bruce Campbell, Robert Englund, Danielle Harris, Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Adam Green, Cassandra Peterson, and many more. Kane Hodder will also provide first person accounts of the events presented in the documentary.

An on-screen legend, Hodder has killed more people on screen than any other actor ever.
