We’re celebrating Kim’s birthday on this week’s episode of Nightmare on Film Street, and we’re doing it the only way we know how: with super-gross foreign horror movies! In a continuation of Greedy Guts month here at NOFS, Kim has handpicked two of her favourite (and two of the strangest) films to come out of Eastern Europe. Join us as we giggle our way through the perverted, puke-filled fairy tale that is Taxidermia (2006), and awe at the lush and lovely spirits of November (2018).
WHAT’S KEEPING US CREEPY?
We are knee-deep in
poutine horror and genre film at the 2019 Fantasia Film Festival right now. So much so that we still haven’t had a chance to see Alexandre Aja’s Crawl! We have, on the other hand, interviewed some pretty amazing folks including Paul Williams (Phantom of The Paradise) and Joe Bob Briggs (The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs), in between amazing films such as Critter’s Attack!, Sadako, and The Deeper You Dig. You can check out our full Fantasia 2019 coverage HERE, and be sure to say Hi if you see us in Montreal!
Need a tee to rock this summer? Join Nightmare on Film Street for a horror Movie Marathon with our newest tshirt design by the uber-talented Robin Banks!
