Grab your galoshes, don your slicker… and then forget about both of those, they won’t do you any good. We’re talking about inclement weather on this week’s episode of Nightmare on Film Street – but because we’re a horror podcast – it ain’t the weather that’s going to get you down. Nope! It’s the otherworldly, alternate dimension monsters of Stephen King’s The Mist (2007), adapted by Frank Darabont, as well as the ghostly manifestations of sailors out for revenge in John Carpenter’s The Fog (1980)! So grab your slicker if you want. In addition to the monsters.. there’ll also be some water vapor.
