Praise Satan! MR PICKLES Season Three Announced!

Everyone’s favorite cartoon dog is back! No, I’m not talking about Scooby-Doo. The dog in question is none other than Mr. Pickles, the satanic border collie from Old Town. The cartoon—which is definitely not for kids—will be returning for a third season on Adult Swim in late February. And I, for one, am very excited to see another ten episodes of Mr. Pickles humping legs and chopping off heads.

If you haven’t heard of this wildly outrageous TV series, the story is pretty simple. It revolves around the Goodman family and the adventures of their 6-year old son Tommy and the family dog, Mr. Pickles. Everything appears to be normal, except Mr. Pickles frequently wanders off to kill townsfolk or to plot schemes in his dungeon lair accessed through his dog house. However, nobody in town suspects that Mr. Pickles is responsible for these sadistic and often elaborate murders. Only Grandpa Goodman knows what Mr. Pickles is up to, but unfortunately, nobody believes him. Did I also mention that Brooke Shields does the voice for Mrs. Goodman? Season 2 was left on a cliff-hanger when the identity of Mr. Pickles’ personal gimp Steve was finally revealed (I’ve already said too much).

Adult Swim also announced a concert tour called Mr. Pickles Thrash-tacular to promote the new season. Playing this tour are thrash metal kings Exodus and Municipal Waste, who have previously worked on a music video with the series creators and fellow Richmond, VA residents Will Carsola and Dave Stewart. Fans attending the concerts will be able to take photo in Mr. Pickles’ dog house and purchase exclusive merchandise.

The newest episode of Mr. Pickles will air on Adult Swim on Sunday, February 25th at Midnight ET/PT. The tour dates for the Mr. Pickles Thrash-tacular can be found below.
