Shane Black’s The Predator is set to infiltrate theaters in just a handful of days now and fans have been given one last look at the film before it is unveiled to the world at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. The Predator was mad an official selection of TIFF’s Midnight Madness programme alongside David Gordon Greene’s Halloween. If you won’t be in the Toronto area don’t fret, The Predator premieres at your local movie theatre September 14th, 2018.
The final trailer (like every juicy sneak peek we’ve been given these last few months) is loaded with carnage, mayhem, and a tease at what is most likely going to be the year’s coolest soundtrack. And yes, before you ask, there is definitely more Predator Dog in this latest clip.
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
The Predator is directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, The Nice Guys) and is scheduled to hit theaters September 14th, 2018. The Predator also boasts a decorated cast, including: Jacob Tremblay (Room, Before I Wake), Olivia Munn (The Newsroom, Deliver us from Evil), Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight, Westworld), Yvonne Strahovski (The Handmaid’s Tale, Headland), Jake Busey (The Frighteners, Starship Troopers), Keegan Michael Key (Key & Peele, Keanu) and Edward James Olmos (Blade Runner, Coco).
