Fans of Rob Zombie’s works have been looking forward to his latest release 3 From Hell (2019) since it was announced, which also had a short teaser trailer released earlier this week. Well, it looks like Zombie also spoke out about his plans for the release and when to expect our favorite killer family back on the big screen.

After the release of the short but quite intriguing teaser, many fans had some questions about when 3 from Hell would take place in the Firefly timeline. Zombie confirmed via Facebook that it will take place immediately after the events of The Devils Rejects (2005). He also states that a longer trailer will be released this July, hopefully showing more of Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding in action. 3 From Hell will bring back Sid Haig, Sheri Moon Zombie and Bill Moseley as the homicidal Firefly family. The first film, House of 1000 Corpses (2003), was a very psychedelic acid trip, while the sequel The Devils Rejects (2005) was more grounded in reality. There is no telling what direction he will take with the third and final installment.

Fans of his amazing music choices in his films are also in luck because Waxworks Records will be releasing a Rob Zombie soundtrack trilogy on vinyl featuring songs from House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devils Rejects (2005) and 3 From Hell (2019). The vinyl will be shipped on August 6th and is now available for pre-order! You can get a taste of the first three tracks of the 3 from Hell soundtrack below!
