Upcoming series Siren shows us that mermaids are more dangerous than Disney would have you expect. Just recently, Freeform dropped a new clip titled “She’s All You Can Think About” that assuages any fear you had about this series leaving the gore at the door. In this newest clip viewers are promised a brutal, violent creature defending herself through a dangerous new environment.

Freeform announced last October at the New York Comic Con that Siren would debut March 29th, 2018 with a 2-hour premiere.  Siren stars Alex Roe, Eline Powel, Fol Evans-Akingbola, Ian Verdun and Rena Owen with Aylya Marzoff, Sedale Threatt, Jr., and Andrew Jenkins and rounding out the cast. Siren is based on a story from executive produces Eric Wald and Dean White alongside showrunner Emily Whitesell. Aldo holding executive producing credits for the series are Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb.

Official Synopsis:

In Siren, the coastal town of Bristol Cove, known for its legend of once being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when a mysterious girl (Eline Powell) appears and begins wreaking havoc upon the quaint village. Using their resources, marine biologists Ben (Alex Roe) and Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola) must work together to find out who and what turned this beloved mythical creature into an primal hunter, and are there more like her out there?

The series stars Eline Powell (Game of Thrones) as Ryn, the otherworldly girl who draws Ben (Alex Roe), a Marine Biologist, into her mystery. Maddie (Fola Evans-Akingbola), Ben’s fellow scientist, is wary of Ryn. Meanwhile, a deep sea fisherman (Ian Verdun) delves into a quest for the truth, and Helen (Rena Owen) seems to understand more about mermaids than the average towns person.
