Come, little children, I’ll take thee away … into a land of a cauldron load of Hocus Pocus costumes, glassware, socks, shirts, pillows, and every single thing that Winifred Sanderson‘s ungodly book could possibly conjur!! Last year, Spirit Halloween became the official haunt for licensed Hocus Pocus products. This year, Spirit has lit a few extra black flame candles.
About a month ago, we heard the excitement of many a people when Spirit announced that the official FUNKO! Pops of Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson would be available exclusively through the retailer. In true FUNKO! fashion, the Pops are replicas of the Sanderson sisters, and comes with their specific flying apparatus that they acquire in the latter part of the movie. You guys, Mary comes with her vacuum! Her vacuum!
Spirit released a version of each witch’s outfit, last year, but this year, they’ve been upgraded with Deluxe costumes. There has been more screen specific detail given to each sister. Corsets are more defined and designed. Sleeves are more elaborate and flowing. Colors are more vibrant. Don’t have the dead man’s thumbs to drop on these deluxe costumes? The costumes from last year are also available at 1/3 of the price! There are few other variations of the Sanderson sisters’ dresses as well as wigs and capes to complete your look.
Billy Butcherson, the unfaithful lover, long since dead, is among the characters that you can become. A Billy mask is available, or for those willing to go the extra step, you can grab the Billy Butcherson makeup kit!
Another character is getting in on the spirit, this year. Binx! The Binx costume is basically a black cat onesie, with Binx‘s face as the hood. And it absolutely comes complete with ears on the hood and a tail in the back. Binx gets his own little line of extras such as glassware declaring “Binx is my boo”, a wine stopper, salt & pepper shakers, candles, and more.
There is literally a plethora of items to choose from to Pocus up your living. There are a few more standouts that may make one go amuck. Speaking of, there’s a candy jar with Sarah‘s “Amuck amuck amuck” plastered on the side. Plush dolls of the sisters with Mary‘s somehow looking exceptionally creepy, and like it may literally come alive, are available. The “I lit the black flame candle” candle is one that is a must have.
Out of all of the available potions and trinkets, the neatest one would have to be the snow globe. Booooo-ooooook! makes up the base of the globe while the sisters’ bubbling cauldron sits within the globe.
Head over to Spirit Halloween’s Hocus Pocus store to see the 70+ items that they have available for this year! The one thing not included that I wish was included? Dani‘s witch costume. How cool would that be? Or an “ICE” decal to put on the back of your head. Okay, that may be taking it a little, too far.
