Suspiria warriors, rejoice! The highly-anticipated film’s final run time has been announced and it’ll clock in at a whopping 2 hours and 32 minutes.

Suspiria’s previous run time was announced at 2 hours and 50 minutes. While some thought it would be cut down drastically, the film is still over two and a half hours. That means we’ll get plenty of gory, witch-y goodness.

Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name) is directing the adaptation of Dario Argento’s 1977 classic horror film. The original film, which starred Jessica Harper, was known for its extraordinary use of color and lighting. In Suspiria,

A young American ballet dancer travels to a prestigious dance academy in Europe, only to discover it is something far more sinister and supernatural. She becomes increasingly terrified after a series of gruesome murders ensue and she slowly unravels the dark history of the academy.

A clip of Suspiria was revealed at CinemaCon this year and left the audience traumatized. Critics furiously tweeted their reactions to a girl’s body cracking in half. Some couldn’t even watch the footage. Needless to say, that clip started the hype train and it hasn’t shown any signs of stopping. The film’s Twitter account has been leaning into the excitement, interacting with Suspiria stans and keeping the hype alive.

Dakota Johnson (50 Shades trilogy) will play dancer, Susie Bannion, and Tilda Swinton (We Need to Talk About Kevin) will play artistic director, Madame Blanc. Suspiria will also star Chloe Grace Moretz (Carrie), Mia Goth (A Cure for Wellness), and Jessica Harper. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke composed the soundtrack.

Suspiria makes its worldwide debut at the Venice Film Festival in September. It will hit U.S. theaters on November 2nd, 2018. Amazon Studios is releasing the film. Are you excited for the remake?
