Yeah, sure, Avengers: Endgame is coming out next year. And I suppose there’s Shazam and a new Wonder Woman. All of that is fine and great, but let me ask you a question. Have any of the characters in those films killed Adolf Hitler AND Bigfoot? No, you fools, they have not. But that doesn’t mean that 2019 will be completely devoid of real cinema. Because on February 8th of next year, The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot is coming to VOD and select theatres.
If the title of the movie isn’t clear enough, check out the official synopsis:
Since WWII, Calvin Barr has lived with the secret that he was responsible for the assassination of Adolf Hitler. Now, decades later, the US government has called on him again for a new top-secret mission. Bigfoot has been living deep in the Canadian wilderness and is carrying a deadly plague that is now threatening to spread to the general population. Relying on the same skills that he honed during the war, Calvin must set out to save the free world yet again. Starring Sam Elliott (A Star is Born), Aidan Turner (Poldark), Caitlin FitzGerald (Masters of Sex) and Ron Livingston (Office Space), The Man Who Killed Hitler And Then The Bigfoot follows the epic adventures of an American legend that no one has ever heard of.
So, if the title of this film hasn’t already sold you, the fact that Sam Elliot headlines this film absolutely has to. And if it doesn’t, well, there’s a piece of your soul that’s got to be missing. The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot officially hits select theaters and VOD February 8th, 2019.
