It’s overwhelming how many horror events are taking place Friday, October 13th this year, but you’d be wise to cancel any tentative plans you’ve already made.
Heavy Metal concerts and horror movie premiers are always a good time, but this year you have the opportunity to tour the birthplace of evil: Camp Crystal Lake.

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco of Hardwick, New Jersey was the primary filming location for the original Friday the 13th. It is still owned by the Boy Scouts and unfortunately, closed to the public. This event offers horror fans a rare opportunity to visit Jason’s old stomping grounds ON HIS BIRTHDAY!*

From the camp’s press release:

As with past tours, the number of tickets will be very limited. Every tour attendee needs a ticket – no exceptions. No tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the tour.

Tickets will be announced in two groups:

Group 1) To show our appreciation for our most dedicated fans, the first group of tickets will be announced via email to anyone that has made a minimum $50 souvenir purchase in our online shop between January 1st, 2017 and 7am the day the tickets go on sale. ($50 minimum not including shipping).

Group 2) After that, the remainder of the tickets will be announced to our general mailing list. You can join the mailing list here. Please note that tour announcements will only be made on the mailing list and will not be posted anywhere else.

Tickets go on sale next week but they will be very limited, so be sure to sign up for the mailing list to know the minute they become available.
