What does a bright shining star, caroling neighbors, a white elephant gift exchange, special gift wrap, majestic reindeer, and three ghosts from the past, present and future all have in common? ‘Christmas’ would be the right answer, however these yuletide elements are now part of a whole new horrific happening in the recently released trailer for the upcoming holiday anthology, All These Creatures Were Stirring. It looks as if the most wonderful time of the year is taking a terrifying turn for the worst as “there’s plenty out there to fear this holiday season”.

All The Creatures Were Stirring first premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival back in February. This Christmas themed anthology, produced by Fallback Plan Productions, stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Chase Williamson (Victor Crowley), Jocelin Donahue (The House of the Devil), Amanda Fuller (Red), and Brea Grant (Beyond the Gates), will tell five tales of epic horror proportions.

This compilation begins with a couple’s awkward date the night before Christmas. When they find their way into a theater, while an odd stage play takes place, they are “treated to a bizarre and frightening collection of Christmas stories, featuring a wide ensemble of characters doing their best to avoid the horrors of the holidays.”

All The Creatures Were Stirring is co-written and co-directed by husband and wife duo, Rebekah McKendry, Ph.D. and David McKendry. Dr. McKendry is easily recognized within the horror community as a regular co-host on the Shock Waves podcast as well as her contributions to both Blumhouse Productions and Fangoria Magazine. She and her co-writer husband also released an entry for Epic Comic’s Hellraiser series together. With the promise of scares inspired by Argento, talented star power, and the tone of dark comedy akin to Scrooged, the McKendry’s All The Creatures Were Stirring is sure to please all of us on Santa’s ‘nice list’ this year.

All The Creatures Were Stirring will be released via VOD, on DVD and Digital HD on December 4th, 2018. Are you excited to see this horror holiday anthology? Let us know over on TwitterReddit, or in the Horror Fiends of Nightmare on Film Street Facebook group!
