[TRAILER] Doug Jones Performs an Exorcism on HELL’S KITTY

The first trailer for Hell’s Kitty has just dropped, and we have it here for you now. According to the film’s official website, Hell’s Kitty is being promoted as a horror/comedy and is based on the hit web series of the same name. In the trailer, above, the titular possessed kitty terrorizes the cast, and Doug Jones is called on to perform an exorcism.

Hell’s Kitty was written and directed by Nicholas Tana, based on his own web series of the same name which was started in 2011. In addition to Tana, the film stars a long list of horror legends and familiar faces: Doug Jones (The Shape of Water and Pan’s Labyrinth), Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), Courtney Gaines (Children of the Corn), John Franklin (Children of the Corn), Kelli Maroney (Night of the Comet), Dale Midkiff (Pet Sematary), Lee Merriweather (Catwoman in Batman: The Movie) Lynn Lowry (Cat People), and Adrienne Barbeau (The Fog and Swamp Thing) all star.

Official synopsis:

Aspiring screenwriter Nick’s love life is jeopardized by his hellacious and demonic cat named Angel. But Nick adores his cat, and defends her despite all of the ominous warnings.

In preparation for the film’s release, you can watch all seventeen of the Hell’s Kitty episodes on the official Hell’s Kitty website. The site is also loaded down with lots of other Hell’s Kitty related items.

Hell’s Kitty is scheduled to be released digitally on March 13th, 2018 and is to hit DVD on March 27th, 2018.

In my opinion, it appears that we might have a brand new cult classic in the making on our hands. Admittedly, I’d never heard of Hell’s Kitty prior to the new film trailer being released, but I think it looks like a lot of silly fun. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
