Some exciting news for fans of the Night of the Demons series, there’s a new documentary on the way! The trailer for The Party’s Just Begun: The Legacy of Night of the Demons. The original is an October favorite of many and its legacy is explored in the new doc by Dead Mouse Productions. This is the same team that brought us Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II and You’re so cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night.

With how in-depth the previous two documentaries have gone, I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Night of the Demons. It promises a boatload of behind-the-scenes footage and extras, as well as interviews from cast members from the original film, its sequels, and the 2009 remake. Amelia Kinkade, the actress who portrayed Angela in the original trilogy, is the host. To name a few that are joining her: Linnea Quigley, Rod McCary, Tiffany Shepis and Kevin Tenney are also going to be featured. I’m personally interested to see what the screen queens Linnea and Tiffany have to say about their time working on their respective versions of Night of the Demons.

“The documentary will follow our hostess none other than Angela herself, played by the one and only Amelia Kinkade, as she gets ready for her “party”. Through the piece “Angela” will be recounting stories of past parties with the help from her “guests” (the rest of the cast and crew from each film). This will truly be a unique experience that we feel the loyal fans will just DIE for!”

The Party’s Just Begun: The Legacy of Night of the Demons is getting a digital release next October, a fitting month for when the film is set. There is also the possibility of a future physical release, depending on how the current crowd-funding efforts end up. If you would like to contribute or want more information about the project, you can check out their Indiegogo page!
