[Trailer] TREMORS: A COLD DAY IN HELL Gives Us Arctic Graboids!

We have all had the pleasure of seeing Michael Gross pump a Graboid full of lead, but have you ever seen Michael Gross pump a Canadian Graboid full of lead? In the new trailer for Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell released by Universal Pictures, you can finally check that off of your bucket list!

The new film, which will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on May 1st, is the sixth film in a Tremors franchise that remains very popular within the horror community. Michael Gross returns as everyone’s favorite prepper Burt Gummer, and he is joined by Jamie Kennedy who plays his long lost son and sidekick Travis Welker. The film is directed by Don Michael Paul (Sniper: Legacy, Tremors 5: Bloodlines) from a script by John Whelpley (Tremors 5: Bloodlines). The synopsis for the film is one of the funniest paragraphs I have ever read:

Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and his son Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) find themselves up to their ears in Graboids and Ass-Blasters when they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant-worm attacks. Arriving at a remote research facility in the arctic tundra, Burt begins to suspect that Graboids are secretly being weaponized, but before he can prove his theory, he is sidelined by Graboid venom. With just 48 hours to live, the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!

Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell

The films in the Tremors franchise are nothing if not fun, and the newest installment looks like it will continue that trend. Michael Gross, who is now 70 years old, has been the backbone of this franchise ever since 1990 and is the only actor to star in all six installments in the series.
