The site notes to preorder your mask now, as bestsellers will sell out before the Halloween holiday. The replicas will ship out September/October of this year, and the official retail price sits at $59.99 + shipping.

Looking at images up close, the amount of detail put into the design is nothing short of spectacular. Michael’s injuries from the 1978 John Carpenter classic show clearly across the mask. Notice the hole in the neck area, where Laurie stabbed him with a knitting needle. Along the left eye is a yellowing discoloration from blood after Michael was stabbed with a wire hanger. Most impressively, the creators found the perfect balance between the original mask’s look while aging it 40 years. Fans are raving that this is the best Halloween mask since the original “Shatner”. To be clear, there is no better compliment than that.

David Gordon Green and Danny McBride’s Halloween hits theatres October 19th.
