If you’re like me, the near instant switch from a focus on Halloween to a focus on Christmas can be jarring. I went to Disneyworld with my family in November last year and everything was already decked out for Christmas. Christmas music playing everywhere, fake snow, all of it. It seems like Halloween is the only thing holding all that holy jolly garbage back!

Well, if you’re looking to keep the creepy going during the Christmas season, Trick or Treat Studios has the answer. They are taking their cue from the pumpkin king and are blending Halloween and Christmas in a series of new ornaments themed after horror icons.

They teased this news this morning on their Facebook page and what they have to show looks damn fine. While they don’t seem to have a release date for the ornaments, they do say they will be sold either individually or as collector boxes. The characters shown so far are Sam from Trick r Treat, Leatherface, Jigsaw’s doll and Michael Myers.

The quality and attention to detail are fantastic. They really look professional and fantastic. As details emerge, I hope to see several more characters added to the roster. These are just great and the perfect antidote to the relentless cheer of the holiday season. The timing of the Myers ornament couldn’t be better with the success of the recent film. My personal favorite of the batch so far is Leatherface. The details are just superb.

Which are your favorites? Who do you hope to see coming in ornament form? Let us know what you think over on Twitter or in the Horror Fiend Club on Facebook and keep an eye out for these beauties to come on the market.
