Have you ever heard of Grady Hendrix? How about Ted Geoghegan? If you haven’t, then why do you choose to hurt me? I thought we were friends! If you have heard of these two people, then you obviously know that they can write a killer movie. After joining forces on the script for Geoghegan’s incredible Mohawk, the duo are hitting the silver screen again with Fangoria’s Satanic Panic, and we have casting news for you!
The film, which will be directed by Chelsea Stardust, will tell the story of “a pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope who has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.” That sounds absolutely amazing, and the cast for the film was just revealed in an article with Deadline.
Newcomer Hayley Griffith will co-star opposite [Rebecca] Romijn with Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day), Arden Myrin (Insatiable), Jerry O’Connell (Carter), AJ Bowen (The Sacrament), Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever), Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords Of Salem), Hannah Stocking (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween), Michael Polish (Some Kind Of Hate), Whitney Moore (House Of Demons) and Skeeta Jenkins (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich) rounding out the supporting cast.
So, not only do we have Grady Hendrix (My Best Friend’s Exorcism, Paperbacks From Hell, We Sold Our Souls) and Ted Geoghegan (Mohawk, We Are Still Here) collaborating once again on a horror film, but we also get pizza, a satanic cult and a killer cast. I, for one, can’t wait to see this film come to fruition. There’s no other news about the film right now, but we here at Nightmare on Film Street will be keeping you up to date when anything new drops!
