It’s been a busy week for Halloween Kills news and it’s only Tuesday. With pictures hitting the web of Haddonfield Memorial Hospital filming (via Bloody Disgusting) over the weekend, Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) decided to not wait for a leak and took it upon herself to give fans the first peek at her bruised and beaten look in the upcoming sequel, Halloween Kills. She tweeted something similar back in January 2018 after her first day of filming for Halloween (2018).

Halloween Kills will be Curtis’s sixth time playing Laurie, the character her career is most associated with (and seventh appearance in the Halloween franchise. She’s the telephone operator in Halloween III: Season of the Witch). Before returning to the role in 2018’s Halloween, Curtis joined the franchise for its twentieth Anniversary in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and its sequel Halloween: Resurrection. Curtis is also confirmed for Halloween Ends releasing October 15, 2021.

With the cast fully assembled and filming now in full swing, fans can expect more behind the scenes shots to begin leaking out. If you are the type of horror fan that digs spoilers check out the pictures and videos from last weekend’s night shoots over at Bloody Disgusting.

Halloween (2018) director David Gordon Green will once again be behind the camera, along with stars Jaime Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode), Judy Greer (Karen), Andi MatiChak (Allyson), and James Jude Courtney (The Shape) all returning from the previous film. Joining them for the sequel will be Anthony Michael Hall (Tommy Doyle), Kyle Richards (Lindsey Wallace), Nancy Stephens (Nurse Marion Chambers), Robert Longstreet (Lonnie Elam), and Nick Castle (The Shape). Halloween Kills is set to arrive in theaters October 16, 2020.
