Did you hear that? A brand new trailer has dropped for upcoming film The Sound starring Rose McGowan and Christopher Lloyd.
McGowan (Scream, Grindhouse, Charmed, Monkeybone) plays Kelly Johansen, a skeptical writer who studies sound waves and paranormal activity. She ends up working on a story about an abandoned subway station and begins investigating in an effort to debunk the stories surrounding the station. It is there that she joins forces with Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) who plays the station caretaker. Their investigation not only gives Kelly proof of the paranormal, but forces her to face an evil that was not foreseen. The unexpected pairing of Lloyd and McGowan is one that has interest peaked for sure. Check out the trailer above.
Actress Jenna Mattison not only wrote the script, but also makes her directorial debut with The Sound. Producer credits include Michele Weisler (The Ring, The Ring 2) and the film will be distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films. With a limited release starting September 29th, watch for it to hit theaters before the end of the year.

Her investigation takes her deep into the abandoned station where her skepticism is tested. As Kelly ascends into the depths of the metro’s darkness she is confronted by an unforeseen evil. In the vastness, she must face her own haunted memories to find the truth and surface back into the light.
