Here’s a rundown of the 10 best Horror home releases for the month of December, in no particular order. Although it’s a time for giving, please feel free to horde these all for your own collections. You have my permission.

 

10. Big Trouble in Little China – December 3rd, 2019

Not the first time this 80’s classic has been released on Blu-Ray or Steelbook, but this sure is a shiny new addition worthy of picking up. Box art on this one is fantastic and the extras are impressive:

9) It: Chapter 2 – December 10th, 2019

The retelling of the Stephen King masterpiece came to a close this year with It: Chapter 2 and hits shelves just in time for Christmas. This 4K UHD release comes packed with:

Seriously, the packaging is nothing short of breathtaking on this one. There have been several sets released over the years but this on takes the cake and honestly, I can’t see them putting out anything like this in the future barring a Season 4. Don’t. Miss. Out.

 

4) To The Devil…A Daughter – December 17th, 2019

Pretty much any horror film featuring Christopher Lee is worth the price of admission alone, and this one is no exception. Released on Blu-Ray for the first time last year, this release will be the first Blu-Ray for North America and is essential for those classic occult fans! Bonuses include:

A Slasher Classics Collection release from 88 Films, this shiny new update is a Region B edition, so buyers be wary, but as many have the ability to play these here in North America, this one’s a good one. Some extras are:

2) The Exorcist III – December 9th, 2019

Another Region B release from Arrow Video! One of the best Exorcist films gets the 2-Disc Limited Edition treatment as Arrow does so well. The release contains both the Theatrical Cut and the “Legion” Directors Cut of the film presented in HD Blu-Ray. Both contain new audio commentaries along with:

1) Prom Night – December 2nd, 2019

The Jamie Lee Curtis classic, also starring Leslie Nielson, gets a killer release from 101 Films! Again, Region B locked, this one has some great features and if you are one of the lucky first 3,000 to purchase from 101 Films, you’ll get a snazzy slipcase and booklet thrown in. Other features include:
