Now that the year’s spookiest season is in full-effect, it’s appropriate to look on the brighter side of the holiday months… not that we have a choice otherwise since there is already sightings of Christmas paraphernalia littering stores and shops. If there is anything to get you excited about premature holly, gift wrapping, and Santa Clauses, it’s another round of Into The Dark’s take on yuletide joy with the upcoming episode, A Nasty Piece of Work.
Blumhouse and Hulu have returned with a new season of their year-long holiday horror anthology and have placed Christmas greed in the scary spotlight. Directed by Charles Hood (Play By Play) and written by Paul Soter (Super Troopers), the second December installment, A Nasty Piece of Work, “follows a mid-level employee at a large company who finds out he’s not getting the Christmas bonus or promotion he was expecting. But then his boss invites him over for dinner with a proposal for how he can climb the corporate ladder… by beating his professional rival in a violent competition.”
Deadline reports that Kyle Howard (My Boys), Dustin Milligan (Schitt’s Creek), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), Julian Sands (What/If), Molly Hagan (Sully) and Natalie Hall (Only the Brave) have been cast in A Nasty Piece of Work, which is sure to make all of our Christmases merry with fright. Who could say no to a holiday proposal with a cast like that to back it up?
You can find all the previous episodes of Into The Dark season one and two available to stream on Hulu. A Nasty Piece of Work will premiere December 6th exclusively on Hulu.
