This year’s SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas will feature a bevy of extraordinary talent, ranging from new to veteran filmmakers. In particular, the horror/sci-fi genre is coming in fully loaded with titles such as John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place, Andy Nyman’s Ghost Stories, and the highly anticipated, Perfect, directed by Eddie Alcazar. Perfect, features Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch/Robocop) and Garrett Wareing (Independence Day: Resurgence). The film has it’s world premiere March 11, 2018 at the SXSW film festival.

Variety published an article back in November of 2016, discussing pre-production for Perfect, previously under the working title Puberty. Ever since, Perfect has been on the radar as several publications have kept pace throughout its production.

[TRAILER] New Trailer for PERFECT Drops Just Ahead of World Premiere at SXSW

Official Synopsis:

A boy in a cold and stark modern house, in a vaguely science fictional world, is seduced by advertisements of perfection to install implantable characteristics directly into his body. The implants heal his dark, twisted visions, but come with a corporeal cost. He persists on applying them, hoping to reach perfection, but ultimately he discovers that purity of mind is not exactly as he’s imagined.

Los Angeles based production company, Brainfeeder Films, will be delivering the feature film to audiences this year. Brainfeeder was formed in 2016 by music producer/musician Flying Lotus along with Perfect film director Eddie Alcazar. Flying Lotus will also be providing the film’s musical score. Brainfeeder’s Official YouTube channel, BrainfeederMedia, just hours ago published the latest film trailer for Perfect on March 9th, 2018
