Plot Details for M. Night Shyamalan’s GLASS, Sequel to SPLIT, UNBREAKABLE

By now it’s no spoiler that recent M. Night Shyamalan flick SPLIT(2016) exists in the same Universe as his not-all-superheroes-wear-capes UNBREAKABLE (2000). It did come as a surprise when not long after the theatrical release of SPLIT, fans of the franchise were blessed with the news of another sequel in the works, GLASS (which also just so happens to be the name of the villain in Unbreakable, played by Samuel L. Jackson).

Until now, we haven’t had much detail on the project, apart from M. Night’s tweets about it being in pre-production and nearing filming… until now!

Here’s some details on the plot of GLASS

Following the conclusion of SPLIT, GLASS finds David Dunn pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

Confirmed roles include, James McAvoy as The Beast, Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis reprising their roles from Unbreakable, Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, and finally, Sarah Paulson with a yet unannounced role.

I’m sure we’ll receive more details as the film nears its 2019 release date.
