Lock Your Doors, We Have Details on THE STRANGERS Sequel!

Almost ten years ago, director Bryan Bertino shattered our sense of security when The Strangers, a film that set the standard for future home-invasion flicks, was released nationwide. Inspired by true events as the opening implies, The Strangers claims that the brutal events happened on February 11th, 2005 and are still not entirely known.

Audiences around the world watched in horror as three masked murderers stalked and tormented a desperate couple. Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Leftovers), and Scott Speedman (Underworld Evolution, The Monster), play the couple returning to a summer home after a wedding reception unaware of what is about to unfold.

Additionally, throughout the horrific events that unfold, viewers couldn’t help but wonder one question: “Why?”

In the end the answer is so excruciatingly terrifying:

“Because you were home.”
