Watch Behind-the-Scenes DARK Featurette Now

There’s a new behind-the-scenes featurette for the Netflix Original Series Dark that includes interviews with the cast and crew, and we have it here for you now!

All ten episodes of the first season of Dark premiered on Netflix’s streaming service on Friday, December 1st, making it the latest horror related show ready for binge watching. In addition to the horror genre, Dark has also been described as a mystery, a thriller, a family drama, and a crime series. It is the first German show to be produced for Netflix. Dark stars Oliver Masucci, Karoline Eichhorn, and Jördis Triebel and was co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese. Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese were also writers for all ten episodes of the first season and Odar served as a director.

When two children go missing in a small German town, its sinful past is exposed along with the double lives and fractured relationships that exist among four families as they search for the kids. The mystery-drama series introduces an intricate puzzle filled with twists that includes a web of curious characters, all of whom have a connection to the town’s troubled history — whether they know it or not. The story includes supernatural elements that tie back to the same town in 1986. Dark represents the first German original series produced for Netflix.

With the show’s subject matter and ties to the 1980s, many critics have compared Dark to Stranger Things and Twin Peaks. Like both of those shows, Dark has garnered mostly positive reviews from critics and currently has a 86% positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

You can stream all ten episodes of Dark on Netflix right now, and be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes featurette, above. Have you already watched Dark? If so, let us know what you think in the comments below.
