Welcome to the finale of Death By Design, our podcast mini-series revisiting the ultimate modern horror franchise. We’ve been letting death take the wheel this while time, choosing the movies order for us, and he did not disappoint! The wait has been killing us but it only feels appropriate that we close out with the ultimate in Dead Teenager cinema: Final Destination 3.

Join us as we look back on Horror’s greatest modest franchise, gush over the greatest (double!) kill of the series, and FINALLY give our full franchise ranking. Spoiler Alert: Final Destination 3 is a heavy-hitter and there’s maybe only one other movie that it has to fight for that top spot. Hopefully you like this slice of early 2000s Horror as much as we do, but even if you don’t, there’s plenty for us all to laugh at in Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s ultra-emo final girl performance.

It’s a bummer that we’ve finally made our way to our final film, but if there’s anything this franchise has taught us, it’s that Death is always just around the corner and despite the studio’s desires to bury this franchise for good, Final Destination comes back from the grave again and again and again. So, although this is goodbye for now, we’ll see you soon….💀
